The former Friendship United Methodist Church is a small complex with a sanctuary for approximately 65, along with a hall/kitchen and three upper-level classrooms.  The sanctuary is nicely kept and shows well.  The original sanctuary was built in 1868, with the hall and kitchen added in 1955. Both are served by central air. The upper level was built in 1968 and is cooled by window units. The property is heated by a fuel oil furnace.

Though reasonably well maintained, the building systems are old, the property would benefit from cosmetic updates, and the basement has had previous water intrusion. The property has been priced with these deficiencies taken in to consideration. The gravel parking lot is currently leased annually from the VA for a nominal fee; the new owner is welcome to work with the VA to maintain the lease. Cars can also be parked on the grassed side of the church beside the wheelchair access.
